“The Arkansas Archeological Survey and Arkansas Archeology”
Tim Mulvihill’s presentation will cover the role of the Arkansas Archeological Survey and how
archeological research is conducted. He will briefly review some of the projects he has been
involved with including excavations at a precontact site on the Mulberry River, research at
Parkin Archeological State Park (the location of a 16th century Native American village), and
excavations at two historic sites (Drennen-Scott Historic Site and the Willhaf House) owned
